First day of School!

Cailyns first day of Kindergarten!!!! Matt took the whole day off work to spend the morning with Cailyn before school. We enjoyed lunch of Cailyns choice which was Wendy's. Second choice which I would have preferred but we ran out of time was Cafe rio. Next time. But she had a great first day. And we love that 9 of the 20 kids in her class, are in our ward, so she has several friends in there.

summer updates

We went up to the ranch this past weekend again with some friends. Bacho was the first to catch a fish and the girls kept trying till Matt and Cailyn caught one too. The weather was great.


My postings are always way late but Cailyn graduated from pre-school and will be starting kindergarden this year. I can't believe how time has gone by so dang fast. She always tells me that I am not allowed to call mr. calender to have her birthday taken off the calender. She says she needs to have birthdays still to get toys to share with Anna so Anna doesn't get sad.

We took a trip up to Colorado to spend a few days with Craig and Audrie and there must be something in the air that makes you have a bad hair day everyday. But you got to love aunt Audrie's couch. It just puts the icing on the cake.
Happy Birthday to Cailyn and Chance this week. They are so not allowed to turn 5!!!
Not everyday can it be a nice summer day, yet the girls can go play in the snow. And the parks in Colorado have way better playground toys then we ever had growing up. I think I had more fun than the girls on some of the cool swings.

Weekend at the ranch

What's a camping trip with out a hot dog?  Or three if you are Anna, and notice she was going for a fourth.  Uncle Craig finely ran out

Since I was tied up over the Easter holliday, We decided the best way to celebrate and Easter Hunt is a couple of weeks after Easter when all the baskets are 75% off or more.  Then you can celebrate the true meaning on Easter Sunday.

Here are all our pretty princesses, guarded by our King.  Chance is a good sport to hang in there with all the girly cousins.

The face of innocence

How do you get mad at this?  Let me give a small example.  

3:00 am - Wyatt wakes up hungry so Matt brings him to me 

6:30 am - Wyatt lets out another wake up call only this time Matt is gone working out

7:00 am - Matt gets home, they spend a few moments bonding.  Matt brings him back to me in                     bed and he spits up all over me. So I lay him next to me to clean off...

7:25 am - Wyatt has a blow out .... Still lying on my bed .. So I get him cleaned off and pull off                         my sheets, which I just washed and sprayed them with shout.... and more shout

7:40 am - Take wyatt to the shower and he pees all over me, my clothes, and my freshly cleaned                   bathroom rug while waiting to get in

7:50 am - Matt asks who would be down knocking on our door?  That would be my 8 o'clock                         hair appointment that has already slipped my mind as I am covered in baby pee....

Through out the remainder of the day, Wyatt had two other blow outs and hurled on his fourth outhfit for the day, as well as all over me....... 

Happy Days!

     Happy Anniversary Babe!  Its been six wonderful years.  I couldn't have asked for more.  Matt has been the perfect husband, and Daddy!  He is a hard worker and makes sure the kids and I are always well taken care of.  He is so kind and loving.  A few things that have earned him bonus points over the years.....

     1. If I am having a bad day, he will still go get me a route 44 to make me feel better even       though he hates sonic and he hates my Dr Pepper habits.

     2. He has not once in six years complained when I come to bed with a big cup of ice and all my daily cross word puzzles which means the lights and the ice crunching has to keep him up all night.

     3. He saves up all his vacation days so he can use them up when ever I need help with the kids.

     4.  He always eats everything I cook, even when I kno

w it's one of his least favorites.

     5.  He's always managed to keep up my passion for buying and selling cars.  I think we have now had a total of 12 over the six years.  And that required him to drive a purple contour for a couple months when his truck got stollen.

     6. He let me get a Baby grand when we had nowhere to put it and it was five times more than the piano budget he gave me.

   He is just wonderful to us and I thank him for that.   I love you Babe!

     Happy Birthday to my wonderful mother-in-law who has done so much for me.  She is a great example and has raised four awesome children.  She is always willing to lend a hand and go out of her way to help out others.  She is always serving those around her and just keeps on going.  She is a wonderful Nana to all of her grandchildren.  We attempted to make a cake for her but my patience ran out after not being aloud to stand on my feet for longer then a few minutes.  Thankfully I had such great helpers.
